At this point, we will use a local anesthetic at the insertion sites to ensure maximum comfort. When you’re ready, our provider will then insert the threads into the skin using a tool called a cannula, you may feel a small prick when this happens. The cannula enters through the tissue below the outer layer of the skin. The thread enters through until it reaches the target point; at this point, we will release it from the cannula.
